My Xbox freezes and I seen other people have the same issue and I don’t think it was solved.

Hey,

I've been having an issue with both of my controllers since the last update. I have checked batteries, held the controller in different places, made sure it's always in line with my Xbox, changed the position of my Xbox, and used the controllers on different
consoles just the other week without any problems. When I'm in the middle of a game, the controller just stops responding. Completely. I can't press start, or open the Xbox Menu. It's completely frozen, but the P1 Light on my controller is still on and my
Xbox registers it as connected. However if I disconnect it, it will not reconnect and my console ALWAYS keeps the controller as connected into P1 and I cannot even connect another controller in it's place. When this happens, the game keeps my character doing
the same thing that I was doing when the controller froze and it doesn't say my controller has D/C or anything.

Ive never had this issue before but i would suggest either going to xbox support or looking up reasons why this would do that. I can only think of a few things as to why it would do that and that is one either the batteries you are using are no good not
just dead, or for some reason your console isnt connecting correctly with the controller.... sorry i couldnt be very helpful.

you might need to update your controllers, that was the issue with mine, or when you moved your console did you block the gloss black plastic oval in the bottom right as that may block the signal, or you might need to change the battery brand, i suggest
duracel.

i have the same problem and so does my friend, i even seen other people with this problem. i am not sure why but this download freezes alot at 4%

I am having the same exact issue on my Xbox one ONLY with JWE2. We can play other games for hours no issue, but with JWE2 it runs for about 5 minutes, freezes, then shut down my Xbox and I have to sync my controller every time.

I don’t have anything connected to the ports and it only happens with JWE2.
