i have 2 day one controllers that are battered by me and the kids, i have 1 from early last year and an elite controller, no drift and flawless, my friends don't have issues either, are you using the r3 button alot and maybe pressing to hard as i have never
had a controller break or go faulty since the 80's.

After getting my Elite Series 2 in December, it's weird whenever I handle a regular controller.

There is a definite difference in the weight and overall quality.
