My Xbox Elite Controller is turning off randomly. Any ways to fix this?

After shutting off, it'll turn itself back on shortly after. In the past hour it has happened atleast 10 times.

When did this issue start to occur with your controller?

Please make sure that its batteries are fully charged. Try to connect it using a USB cable to isolate the issue.

Then perform a power cycle. To turn off the controller, press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller powers off. Then press and hold the Xbox button again for the controller to turn back on.

I had this problem for a year and i discovered for what ever reason it was just the one game i was playing (elite dangerous) it was litterally the only game that made my controller turn off randomly every 15 mins

I always turn on and turn off my Xbox 360 Elite console with the wireless controller!

I plug my controller into my xbox and it still turns off is it because i have an elite controller or something?

yeah its killin me i never had an issue with my Elite controller other than the LB breaking off but it was an easy fix might just grab a new elite controller 60 bucks every couple of months is no joke. i have no idea how it happens either on COD or Rocket
league. any idea if theres just a way i can fix it?
