My Xbox dashboard is super slow?

I have a older Xbox one but it runs fine and now that I turn it on it’s running super slow on the dashboard and to load up the screen,I have cleaned the cache and done all the tricks but it still won’t load games and keeps crashing even in the settings. I have no idea what to do?

Have you tried doing a hard reset?

I have no experience of older XB1s but, to me (and I could be completely wrong), it sounds like the hard drive is having issues, maybe failing, especially if it's had a lot of use.

My Xbox is doing the same thing. It is slow to load the home screen, slow to load apps, slow to load games. Even when I turn it on now it is super slow to come on. This new update looks great, but something has got to be fixed. My xbox has never been this
slow to respond.

Clear your xbox cache by pressing your console's power button for 10 seconds, then turn it on again and the cache will be cleared.

Could be a potential hard drive problem, take a look at this article since seems like you can't access to the configuration of your Xbox:

Note that these steps will erase all data, games and accounts from the Xbox.
