My Xbox custom profile pic

my Xbox account cannot have custom profile pic because I have

Xbox/MSA Date of Birth Mismatch since you enter the birthdate 1968 when you create the account

I’ve had this problem and this is the main problem according to my two Xbox support chats

Also I have violated the terms of service but I have never used this feature I really need help

Custom gamer pic problem?

i put in a USB to upload a custom gamer pic but it wont show the button on the xbox to put the custom gamer pic on my profile. Any ideas on why it wont show the button to me?

Profile pic stuck on Avatar

I'm experiencing issues with viewing my profile picture.

I uploaded a custom pic, all my friends can see it when they look at my profile (I've also spoken with customer service and they could see my pic as well).

However On my console there is no pic and it only shows my avatar( my profile even has the switch to avatar option active, which to me means it thinks the profile pic is already there)

. does anyone know how I can make it change on my end so I can see my own profile picture?

Hi there,

I'm a little confused by what the exact issue is. I'll do my best to respond.

The date of birth entered when an account is first created is the one that the system pulls from. Even if you update your MSA account to a different year, the system will still see the original year. Until that year reaches the Age of Majority for your region,
there is nothing that can be done.

Did you enter the wrong year and then update it to 1968?

As for the 'violated the terms of service' portion - do you mean you have a suspension? If that is the case, there is nothing anyone in the forums can do to assist. Only an enforcement team member can respond and they do not use the forums. You would have
to reach out via the case review process at
https://enforcement.xbox.com.

Let me know if the issue is something else.

Have you tried asking for assistance or modifying it directly from your Xbox account via PC/W10M? It can happen that there are these problems sometimes.

I recommend that you sign into your Microsoft account on the Xbox console, use Profile & system and open My profile.

Use customize profile then, use change gamer-pic. Open Upload a custom image, then select the image.

Personally I do not use a custom image as a gamer-pic. I have no images saved on my Xbox console as files, to upload as a custom gamer-pic.

Any custom profile pic need to be approved by the Xbox live enforcement team. So if the don't approve the pic, will not be applied to your profile

I have same problem. My custom profile picture changed. But now, anytime I sign in on the profile with the custom pic, I can't see it. I just see the default Xbox one I had prior to the change. But apparently everyone else sees my custom picture. Even
when I sign into other profiles on this Xbox I can see the custom pic, but when I'm signed in on my main one, I don't see it. I remove my profile, power cycled, add my profile again, nothing. I see a snake profile picture on my Xbox, and on my PC, when login
on xbox.com. But my friends see my custom profile picture (Bela Lugosi, Dracula).
