Try cleaning that controller, there must be something that its triggering the RT BUTTON (fire right?), it might be dust or a particle but it could also be that the spring of that button is getting old and tends to activate itself, and Battlefield's controller
sensitivity senses that button activation (whatever the case).

Remember that controllers have an useful life/ life span too, depending how you treat them too. For instance I always have troubles with my joystick/analog pad.

Sounds like the A button could be stuck? Has happened to me so its always depressed, had to take about the controller and clean out the sockets.

Try the following: Turn off the Xbox 360 console. With the console off, hold the Y and RT buttons on a controller, then press the Guide button on the controller to turn on the console, WHILE STILL HOLDING the Y and RT buttons.

So I actually fixed the issue with all four of my controllers knew it was a software issue obviously not stick drift because the joysticks spring back i’ve dealt with drift before and I know for a fact when the springs ware out they no longer move properly and don’t spring back into their original position so for me it was definitely not drift I figured out the issue was fixable by force updating the controllers in the

Xbox accessories app I sometimes swap back-and-forth between my consoles and apparently this can cause software issues but force updating the controllers fixes them I reported the issue to the insiders hub report a problem I put in the report that when switching between multiple devices the controllers have a tendency to bug out and receive ghost inputs
