My xbox controllers have been glitching lately 2 are new and it scrolls down 5-8 lines...

Have you checked if your controlller is updated?

Connect your controller with a USB cable

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Under Profile & system, select Settings.

Under Devices & connections, select Accessories.

On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.

If it says there’s no update available, your controller is current. If it says “Update,” follow the steps provided.

Hey! Try changing your Member Content setting to Everyone. Use these steps:

1. Sign in to your profile on your console.

2. Click on your Avatar in the 'my xbox' page.

3. Scroll right x2 to online safety.

4. Change settings.

5. Customise.

6. Scroll down to 'member content', then select 'Everyone'.

7. Press B.

8. Save & exit.

Setting up the XBox 360 as a Media Center Extender

1. On your XBox 360 console, scroll up to My XBox

2. Scroll across and select Windows Media Center

3. Select Continue

4. Note the 8-digit set-up key that is displayed. This is the key that will associate your XBox 360 console with the computer running Windows Media Center.

5. On the computer open Windows Media Center

6. Scroll down to Tasks, and then scroll across to Add Extender.

7. Follow the prompts until you are asked for the 8-digit set-up key

8. Enter the key. Then click Next

9. Follow the prompts to complete the set-up.

BTW you will not be able to view PowerPoint presentations this way. Media Center is purely for viewing Media

Im having issues with mine as well. My B button sticks sometimes, and ive had my right analog stick get completely stuck down in the controller. And just today, with the four controller settings (none, setting 1-3) having no setting glitches my controller
and i cant scroll up without it going right back down, same as my default setting. Kinda disappointed since i had it pre-ordered 4-5 months prior to it releasing. And on top, paying $200 for it. Would love to get a replacement one free of charge or something.

Totally understand how frustrating this could be. We've just been lucky in our household i guess, we have 4 controllers in total, 2 being brand new when we purchased the Xbox many years ago and 2 2nd hand controllers bought for the kids 2 years ago and
the only issue ive had is with my own and that was after i accidentally dropped it down the stairs and the LT was stuck, once we managed to pop it back out, it worked perfectly and still does 6 months down the line
