• Do you, by any chance, have a different controller you could try with your console? Alternatively, do you have a different console you could try this controller with?

• Besides the TV/monitor, do you have any external devices plugged into your console?

• When you say you reset your console, are you referring to a factory reset?

• If you haven't already, could you try connecting your controller via a USB cable and checking for any pending firmware updates? You can do so by going to Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & Headsets > [...].

• Would you mind trying another power cycle? Only this time, please do it like this:

- Turn your controller on.
- Press and hold your controller's Xbox button until it shuts down.
- Remove your controller's batteries and USB cable (if plugged in).
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.
- Plug the power cord back in. Please make sure to use one of the wall's outlets.
- Put the batteries back in the controller.
- Turn your console on and check if the issues persist.

- If necessary, try pairing your console and the controller again.

• If that doesn't work, could you try pairing your controller with another console, a cellphone, or a computer? If that works, try pairing it with your console again.

yes that is right no controller is working on the console. this problem started suddenly one night I was playing normally, next morning, the controller lost connection and the Xbox console sync button did not work.
