    My xbox controller keeps moving on its own..


    So basically it just started happening out of nowhere, as my xbox controller drifts a bit in games, but now on the Xbox menu when I move my controller up it moves all the way down, and i can't control my way to the settings. Does anybody know what's going on?

    — Also it keeps moving very fast to the point i can't control it on top of all of that.

    Are you able to connect and use the controller without any issue through a USB cable?

    You should check the state of the internal components of your controller, since possibly a fault is present, perhaps that is the problem for which your controller acts in that way.

    Yeah i have tried that. The problem seems to be witn the controllers that are older/well used. Wondering if worth buying a new one to see what happens.
