My Xbox controller keeps forgetting the Xbox and wont reconnect

ive heard xbox will give u a new xbox because of the "faulty" update its trying to fix research it on google.................my xbox wont even apply the new update to mine it keeps freezing and tells me to reconnect my controller and never proceeds

i have the newer xbox and only one of my wireless controllers wont reconnect or sync

when your computer loses internet it wont notify you right away. It will keep trying to reconnect for a min or 2 then say you lost connection. If it reconnects you wont notice anything. The second your xbox loses internet it kicks you out and prompts you
to sign in again.

Forget and Reconnect to the Hotspot:
On your Xbox One console, you might want to "forget" any previously saved Wi-Fi networks and then reconnect to your iPhone's hotspot:

Navigate to "Settings" on your Xbox One.
Select "Network."
Choose "Advanced settings."
Select your Wi-Fi network (if listed), then choose "Forget."
After forgetting the network, you can attempt to reconnect by following the steps to connect to a new Wi-Fi network and selecting your iPhone's hotspot.

So i unplugged my xbox and left it overnight and still my controller wont connect to my xbox, the buttons are still dead and the controller keeps timing out.
