    My Xbox controller jack isn’t working


    My Xbox controller jack I’m pretty sure is broken. I can hear the game and other people but I can’t talk or use my mic. I’ve checked alll the settings and updated the controller and it still doesn’t seem to work someone please help me.

    no headset working on Xbox one

    Its a design flaw. The 3.5mm jack socket isn’t fixed in place inside the controllers. We have 3 xbox ones and 6 controllers, 3 of them no longer pick up the headsets through the jack. I did take one apart and cleaned the connection up on the circuitboard
    and pins on the jack socket.. it worked for a while but constant use just knocks it loose again.

    Have you tried it in another port on the adaptive controller just to make sure that the Jack isn’t bad?

    I heard it would work if I connect the mic to xbox via usb, and connect the mic to the 3.5mm adapter jack that goes to mic jack and headset jack. And connect that adapter to my controller. Idk if that is true though

    Hello, the headphones has both USB and jack port, I used to jack with my controller, no adapter is needed.

    The controller just has the 3.5mm jack the XBox One S did not come with the stero headset controller...just plugging into the 3.5mm jack worked for a few weeks right out of the box
