: My Xbox cannot connect to an ORBI network

Hello, I've only seen a few posts on this issue, but I am frustrated as I have tried almost eveything, but it still refuses to work. Does anybody have an idea why my Xbox One cannot connect to an
"Orbi Tri-Band Cable Modem Router (CBR40)."

*Model R7000 is just a placeholder as the CBR40 does not exist on Microsoft's site

Appreciate if you could detailing out what you have tried so far, so that people trying to help can have a better understanding of your situation.

Could you elaborate what exactly is not working.

• Is your console unable to detect the wireless network name (SSID)?
  
• Your console can detect the SSID, but is unable to connect to it (do you receive any error code or message during this state)?
  
• Your console is able to detect the SSID, connect to your wireless network, but doesn't receive an IP address?

So my console says its connected to the internet and when you go online to play XBL it says its not connected.

What do you mean completely reset? Like a hard factory reset?

i have the same routers as you and i cant get my xbox to connect at all.

very frustrating.

when i went to do a hard factory reset i pressed on the option that make my games stay on my xbox, but it says it wont keep my games if i’m not connected
