My Xbox blinks when I turn it off what does that mean

HA! It just happened to me. I hit the power button on the console to turn it off, it's blinking. Maybe it's updating. I should have used my tv app or used the 360 instead. this sucks. Damn what does the blinking light mean? ill have to search through support

What does it mean when your touch power button has a blinking red light on start up? But never starts... xbox 360 will not power on and i feel i tries everything. All the cords are secure, i pulled out the hardware made sure it was dust free. The power brick
is solid orange light that goes green when you try to start the console but goes back orange cause the console turns off after 10 blinking red lights and never powers up at all. What should I do????

When I do that nothing comes up on my screen, my monitor has the yellow light on it meaning that its turned off, what it does is turn on, say no signal and turn off.

I'm able to turn on my Xbox console. But when updating to the latest software updates, it turns off and does not restart to install updates. It keeps having the same problem with the power button blinking three times and not turning on and staying on to use the console.

Does anyone know if it's ok to leave it running in the background. I noticed my HDD blinks off and on whenever the xbox console is turned off. I thought it would turn off the port too since it's not on "Power-saving" mode.
