My Xbox app will not open

My Xbox app (in start-windows 10) will not open. It does open on my laptop but not my desktop. Individual games Will open. I can access Xbox.com. Any suggestions. TY

Xbox app will not open

Hi,

We need the following information to properly isolate your concern:

1. Are you getting any error messages?

2. Is this happening to other apps as well?

3. Have you made any changes on the device prior to this concern?

Make sure to check the status of Xbox Live by clicking this link for any service alerts. Also, verify that have the latest version of the Xbox app on Windows 10. For more information, check out this link.

To help resolve any issues with an application in the Store, we recommend clearing the Store Cache. Kindly perform the following steps:

1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type WSReset.exe and click OK.

3. The Store and a command prompt will be prompted without any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

Xbox app will not open

The green box open and white circle just kept turning. I ran the App troubleshooter it didn't help. I can go to xbox.com and sign in, but I can't sign in at Store.

It is possible that an incorrect settings caused this issue on your Xbox app. For us to isolate the main issue, we would like to confirm if this issue happens when you're accessing a specific game only? Meanwhile, following the steps below will help us correct
your Xbox app settings:

Step 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the Run troubleshooter button on this link.
This process will check and resolve common issues with the apps on your PC.

Step 2: Reset the Windows Store to clear the Store cache.

Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
Click on Command prompt (Admin).
Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

Step 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox App to update it.

Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage.
Hit Enter.
Launch Windows Store and download the Xbox App.
Open the game on the Xbox App.
