my xbox app on both my phone keep getting stuck at the "Turn on your console and sign in...

Hi, Strumdeet! It seems that you're having issues starting a remote play on your Mobile phone.

Check if you have enabled remote play feature:

Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

Make sure that Enable remote features option is ticked.

Under Power options, select Sleep.

Note If your console power mode isn’t set to Sleep, remote play won’t work.

Please try rebooting your mobile device along with the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off.

Remove everything that is connected to the console

Wait for 3 minutes then connect the Power cord and HDMI cable.

Then set it up again:

Open the Xbox mobile app.

Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.

Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote play on this device.

Yes, it is stuck on that prompt when I'm and trying to find the series x. I tried signing out and signing back in on the app and the console. Also tried to restart the console and did a hard reset but no luck. Unless I need to keep restarting?

Message on app: Turn on your console and sign in with your account. I shows my gamertag there under the message.

That's really strange lol. I've had my Xbox One not turn off before, like I was trying to manually turn it off with the controller and then by holding my finger on the power button to do a hard reset, and it just stayed on. I've also had my gamertag get
unintentionally signed in to the console by loading up the Xbox app on my phone in the same room, and since the app is linked to my console, it auto-signed me in. But I've never seen the console just turn on by itself lol. Maybe a strange power glitch or the
auto-on feature triggered somehow? If it keeps doing it, you may need to unplug your console when you're not using it. Good luck!

I have had Xbox App notifications failing to pop up a few times. Usually, it's resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, turning notifications off and back on, signing out and back in, or simply turning the phone off and back on.

Also double check that you have them on, both through your app notification settings and through your phone's. Some phones let you block notifications of specific types, from specific apps, or both, and I've accidentally turned an app's notifications off
that way a few times.

Thanks for testing it. Usually if your phone is capable to connect to a 5G connection it will broadcast a 5G connection too. But let's try to power reset your console:

1​​. Turn off your console and your router/modem.

2. Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.

3. After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.

​​​4. Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

If the issue persists, please try to factory reset your console:

Press the Xbox button > Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note: the "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.
