My Xbox account won’t let me sign in on my console or the phone app.

It’s not my connection at all. My husband is right next to me playing on his Xbox just fine.

Please understand that your Microsoft account is not the same thing as an Xbox account, although you can use the same email address for both.

To access Microsoft account, kindly visit: https://account.microsoft.com/account/Account?refd=www.google.com

To access Xbox account, kindly visit: https://www.xbox.com/live
You can then try to reset your password on the Xbox account.

Once you have signed in, can you check on the top right of the screen, next to the shopping cart, if your gamertag is displayed.

For me, this all started with last night's Windows Update. Anyone else? Started up the computer and it finished the update and since that I haven't been able to get access to xbox live. When trying to sign into the site through firefox or chrome it just reloads the home page. I cannot sign in at all. Annoyed.
