    My Xbox Account Suddenly Has (Buggy) Content Restrictions?


    Hello, I was trying to install Superhot: Mind Control Delete from Xbox Game Pass on my PC, but when I went to download it, it told me that it was past my content restrictions. I don't have any such restrictions on my account, and even stranger, it still let me launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection and download the DLC for it! (Halo is rated M for Mature, while Superhot is rated T for Teen.) I would really like to get this fixed, as I want to be able to play Game Pass games and use my account as it is meant to be - without content restrictions. I never put any restrictions onto my account in the first place, and again, it lets me play games rated M for Mature, but not T for Teen. I am genuinely baffled. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi The, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to yours. If there is none kindly repair and reset the Xbox App by following the steps below:

    Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for Xbox > Advanced Options > Reset > Repair.

    After that sign in and then try to install a rated M game again.

    Under Settings> Account on my new xbox there is no option for included with this xbox.

    It has the following,

    Sign in, Security and Pin

    Payment and Billing

    Linked social accounts

    Subscriptions

    Privacy Online safety

    Family settings

    Content restrictions

    Remove accounts

    It's not meant to be. The terms usage limitations state that they can be used by everyone on the console, 343 have also confirmed that they are looking into the problem. That also doesn't explain the Reach problem or the themes.
