My Xbox account on Bo2 is having issues.

It seems that you are having issue with the game saved data and accepting game invites from your friend. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

It is possible that the level of your game is not currently the actual status or it might be belonging to someone. And with regards to issue on unable to accept invite from a friend, it could be related to your online safety and privacy settings of your account. Let us check it by following some steps.

For the issue of the level of your game, if we may ask, have you played this game before from a shared subscription? It is possible that you have already played this game before or possibly it is not your account that is signed in. To help resolve this issue, try removing your profile and add it again. If the issue still persist, we can delete the game save data so you can start the game from fresh.

With regards to your issue with accepting invites, it is possible that your online safety and privacy settings to communicate with voice, text or invites is not enabled. To change the settings, follow the steps below:

• Log in to https://account.xbox.com/settings with your Microsoft account.
  
• In the navigation tabs, click Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety
  
• Select Allow for You can create and join clubs, and You can join multiplayer games.
  
• Then click Submit.
  

To enable chat for people not on the friends list:

In the table header:

1. Click Privacy
   
2. Select Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites.
   
3. Select Friends or Everyone then click Submit.

I guess it has something to do with the release of BO2, but it should not have anything to do with my xbox live account??

i have since logged in and my account seems to be working fine after re-installing my bo2 dlc
