my xbox account keeps saying i’m offline when i’m not. this is stopping me from playing...

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue, however, there are no official announcement from Microsoft that's why we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware by following the steps below:

"1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

Like I said if its both of you it might be an isolated thing. A few other people have mentioned it on twitter. Your time frame also matches up with the few I have seen.

The only thing you can do is wait for it to be sorted by the techs.

Does this friend live near by vs those others?

When exactly did this issue start?

And can you send invites to games?

There seems to be other with this same issue. I think it might be an isolated live issue right now. Your best bet is to wait it out.

None at all it just says i was last seen 2h ago.
