My xbox account is gone, it overrided with a new gamertag.

Made an account linked to one emailadress, then all of a sudden it logged me out and i had to add my profile again to xbox. I did with the emailadress used for my account, and then it gave me the option to make a whole new account? I thought it was just changing my gamertag so i did and now everything is gone! How is it even possible that xbox gives the option to make a whole new account and gamertag on an emailadress that already has an account?

I contacted support and they put the blame on me, i was the one who ''removed'' my account and made a new one. Now why would i do that?! I assume if you log in on xbox with an emailadress already linked to a gamertag, there is no possibility to make a whole new one? Or does xbox support multiple gamertags on ONE emailadress that i not know of?

It also really sucks because the gamertag was linked to my Battle-net Blizzard and now i can't add a new one or relink it because they have a 365 day cooldown rule for that. Is there a solution for this????

I notice more people have the same issue and there is only basic replies on there with information that does NOT help. my account is gone, overrided. This is not okay.

It appears that you have created an alias to your main account and removed the original account making your original account deleted. Let us check and see on what we can do to address your concern.

We would like to ask few questions to help us understand the issue further.

1. Did you add an alias to your Microsoft account and deleted the primary email?

2. Have you tried signing in the email account and got an error message like 'this email address or account does not exist'?

For the meantime, try signing in your original account through Microsoft account page and tell us what exactly the error message is. Sign in through this link: https://account.microsoft.com

Nope, no way to override that waiting period.

They can change it to one of the gamertags provided by Xbox, but they won't be able to change it to a custom gamertag until they are 18. There are no settings that can override that.

You could do that to get the gamertag that you want. Switching the Microsoft Accounts around would tie your previous digital purchases to the new gamertag, but all of the games that you've completed with the first gamertag would be gone, as they would be
tied to the first account.
