Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can definitely change the primary email of your Xbox profile but just a friendly reminder that when removing an email alias that’s connected to a Microsoft domain (such as @Outlook.com, @Live.com, or @Hotmail.com), that email is completely deleted from our systems, and can’t be used to send or receive emails. It won’t be available for use again as an alias on another account. Microsoft doesn’t recycle email addresses, so they can’t be reclaimed at a future time.

My dad's having a similar problem with messed up Xbox Live accounts and his Microsoft account.

They literally have his email wrong. They have it down as hotmail with it is an aol email. I got no clue how to fix this, and he has no clue how to fix this and microsoft/xbox is not very helpful in this entire charade.

Dad had two security email one was hotmail, the other aol and now we done know whats going on because all his saved data for a game is gone.

Yea thats the major problem with the new system they did connecting all their stuff together. I dont want to deny my dads access to his email just cause i want control over my xbox account

I don't see how answering those questions helps you or me because they all seem to have something to do with internet connection which isn't the problem in my case.

My account + my dad's xbox (same house as me, same internet connection) = Connected to Xbox LIVE

My Dad's account + my dad's xbox = Connected to Xbox LIVE

My Dad's account + my xbox = Connected to Xbox LIVE

My account + my xbox = Can't connect to Xbox LIVE

I doubt it has anything to do with my internet. Sorry if I seem like an @@@ for not wanting to answer the questions but they seem like a waste of time.

sorry if I’m still a bit hessident about this but I belive my dad’s email is a hotmail account, so if I make a new email and make that the primory alias will my dad’s hotmail account, which hes still using, be automaticly deleted even if it’s a secondary
alias? Also, will my dad still be able to use his email to sign into his microsoft account even if it’s not the primory alias?

Sorry if I’m repeating myself, again I’m making sure I cover everything so I don’t mess up my dad’s email.
