    My Xbox 360 wont recognize my wireless controller.


    I tried to use a Pc Wireless Gaming Receiver so i can play Sonic Adventure DX and some other games with a controller, but it turns out it failed, and now my controller keeps trying to connect with the receiver and my xbox at the same time, so it doesnt know
    which one to choose.

    Xbox one controller for PC

    So I've been trying to connect my Xbox one controller to my PC but my computer wont recognize the controller. I have downloaded the correct drivers but it isn't being recognized.

    Connecting xbox 360 controller for use on PC

    I have a wireless controller and the PC recognizes "Xbox 360 controller via play & charge kit" however when I launch a game like Halo 2 Vista nothing happens. Pressing the middle button just turns on my Xbox in the next room. Am I missing anything? Thanks.

    Is the controller a wireless controller or wired? If it is wireless, how are you connecting it? If by using the play & charge kit, then the Xbox 360 controller will not work, as the cable is only recognized on PC for charging only. You need to use a Xbox
    360 Wireless adapter for PC to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your PC.

    Can I use Original Xbox360 controller on pc (the controller of the xbox360)?

    If the Xbox 360 controller is a wired controller, then the controller can be used on the PC, just plug it in the USB port, and it should recognize it and let you use it. If it is a wireless Xbox 360 controller, then you will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows to connect the controller to your PC.

    using that link, i was unable to find any way to purchase the adapter... i also noticed in step 5 that it mentioned that this was for a wireless music controller..... for those who have eyesight problems MY GUITARS ARE NOT WIRELESS. as stated multiple times before... my guitars are wired and windows does recognize them as 360 controllers.

    Xbox (Beta) App on Windows 10 with Xbox 360 controller?

    The wireless controller works perfectly fine with steam games but none of the xbox game pass games on the xbox beta app recognize the controller.

    I heard that it wont work with a third party receiver, which i use.

    Plus unfortunately i am not able to test it with a wired controller.
