my Xbox 360 will not login to my Xbox live account. Tells me PROFILE CANNOT LOGIN

Xbox 360 Issue HELP!

The other day, I was on my Xbox 360 and tried downloading the WWE Network app when my console froze. I restarted the system and logged back into my Xbox Live account and now every time I do log back in, my system freezes on the dashboard. It only does this when I log into my Xbox Live account. If I skip login, I do not have any issues.

Could someone help me please?!

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

Another way to attempt to fix this, is to remove the account from the xbox in settings->accounts-> remove accounts. After that is removed login with that gametag again to force the console to fetch your live subscription data. In rare cases your Xbox account and live account will lose sync.

Hi there,

try the following steps,

1. Check Sign in to your Microsoft account to see if security proofs are setup and verified and up to date

2. Delete your profile from the console, be sure to delete only the profile, to do so check this link:

3. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:

4. Turn the console off.

5. Turn the console on.

6. Clear the console cache one more time

7. Redownload your profile.(See the same link as 2.)

I just tried that and it didn’t work. Now it won’t let me login to my account on the 360. It says it can’t connect to Xbox live.

Yes, you set it to Home Xbox of the Xbox Live account holder. All gamertags that login can enjoy Xbox Live and share all games of the account holder.

Edit: All you have to do is login using the gamertag details from the 360, the details will transfer over.

When I was younger I had an Xbox 360, and to buy games my mother added her Microsoft account to my Xbox account. Fast forward many years and The Xbox 360 is now mine. I have my own Microsoft account and would like to add it on there. I recently
made an Xbox account and linked it to my Microsoft account so I could cross play with friends on the PS4 version of Minecraft, but now I don't know how to change the accounts so my old Xbox account is linked to my new Microsoft account. Any help would be appreciated.

You can have multiple Xbox Live accounts, and just login to each one whenever you want to play on that certain account. When you load up the system, and go to LOGIN you will have the option to login to your main account (which ever is there) and then the
option to "sign into account" you can click then and then login to your other xbox live account. I hope this helps a little.

Hi,

If the gamertag you're seeing when you login to Xbox.com and the gamertag you see when you login to your Xbox 360 console is not the same then that means that you're not logging into the right Xbox LIVE account.

If you have access to this account on your Xbox 360 console go to Settings > Account > 3rd Tab (Account Information) > Account Security. Look to the right hand side, and you'll see the e-mail you should be using to login to Xbox.com.
