    Hi my xbox 360 slim overheats twice and then it works fine for the rest of the day but the first time it turns off, the fans do not spin. The second time the fans spin and then it's fine. Any suggestions?

    What Chipset do I have?

    Xbox 360 Slims, as far as I know, keep themselves from overheating by shutting off if they get too hot. I've been constantly using my Xbox 360 Elite for a year now and no RRoD for me :D
