My Xbox 360 just went crazy.

So while trying to download a Minecraft update, my Xbox 360 just turned off, restarted, turned off instantly, restarted, stayed on for a while, then started turning off again. I unplugged it. A little help please on what to do WITHOUT breaking it?

Ah, okay. If cleaning it doesn't help, then the console would need a repair, which would be fully covered under warranty.

Is the console turned off only when upgrading? In all other cases does it normally work?

Check the status of the red lights to better understand the problem: Xbox 360 Power Supply Lights | Xbox 360 Three Red Lights

If everything works normally, installation data may be corrupted and you may try to clear the console cache: How to Clear the Cache on Xbox 360

wat3r1011, I do have a PS3 close by but thats unplugged when I have the Xbox connected.

Hi! It does appear as though there is an issue with the touch sensitive power button on your console. Is it dirty at all? You might try cleaning it with a soft cloth.
