    Ok Guys, hope some one can help me out of my misery here.

    My own "greatest console available" just died while playing Unravel (I would say it's nothing that hard for it to run). It just turned itself off and won't come back to make my joy. Not even a flash of white light from the X buton or the usual turning on
    sounds.

    It had been on for a few hours before passing away as I was donwloading and installing a few games that I've bought yesterday night, but it is placed on a quite well ventilated spot. When it turned off I check the temperature over the console and, swear
    to God, it was far away for dangerously hot.

    I didn't noticed any kind of oscilation on the electric grid at the time nor any thunder storms around.

    I must say I'm disapointed AF. I played with it for only two months now, as I bought it new on early January. I've payed almost USD 500,00 for only 2 months of fun, it is, no doubt, one of the most frustrating gaming experiencies I've had so far.

    I have a 360 Super Slim that never once let me down after almost five years of battle, and now this.

    I've already checked for cables, I did let it off for an hour or so and tried again, I tried with another socket, another eléctric cable... but nothing's going on, it is just an inert piece of plastic now.

    Also, I have a Monster Hunter World disk inside it that I'm not being able to pull out in order to transport it. When I use the side orifice to force the disk out it get stuck in the aperture and I have no space to grab it and pull it off. Any ideas on how
    to remove it properly?

    I live in Brazil and I'm not being able to create the order for sending it for warranty, don't know why thou.

    Could someone help me to understand what happened with my One X?

    At least you were able to get it sorted in the end. I've also only ever had great experiences with customer support.

    Thank you onyxishere, your reply was of great help.

    It was not the surge protector problem, I had tested the console directly to the socket without success.

    I found out that I was not being able to fill the repair request form because my console SN is not a brazilian one, it is imported from Europe. So, when I fill the form, the system keeps telling me that the service I requested is not available for my region.

    I contacted the support, the which, I must say, gave me one of the best customers services I have ever experienced. By the symptoms of the console, they said it is actually dead it and seems that I'll have it replaced.

    Of course it is frustrating to have a dead console, but I must say that the MS after-sales is great and I'm quite happy with the attention I got.

    Thanks you all, guys!

    The problem is kinda solved. I wasn't being able to fill the repair request form because my console was not bought in my country, I brought it from abroad and the MS System understands that my console is in the wrong region.

    I talked with the customers service and they registered my console's SN for my current region and already opened the service order for the warranty.

    Just wait for the repair now.

    You should be eligible for a repair. You may just be in the wrong region on the website. When you're on the repair site scroll to the bottom of the page and click the tiny globe icon. Then select your region and create the repair order after that.

    Sorry to hear it. If the console is plugged into a surge protector try plugging it directly to a wall socket to see if that helps. If it does not then you may need to set up a repair of the console. You can do this at
    devicesupport.microsoft.com. If you are unable to fill out the repair request form at that link then you will need to get in contact with Xbox Support at
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    In the meantime you can try the manual eject to see if that will pop your disc out https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/manually-eject-disc
