    My Wrongful Communications Ban


    I was banned last night for Communication for over 72 hours due to a message being reported. Why is this wrong? I messaged him saying he was lucky to win the race we did and he responds with some childish involving "Your Mom got lucky too" and we banter back and forth and my last message I sent was after he sent a message that made zero sense in the English language so I said "That didn't even make the smallest (like something else you have) amount of sense" and he reported it. My point being he made it hostile and got ME banned because I didn't report his messages because they weren't serious at all and gave no reason to react with seriousness as to report them so I just deleted the chat after and moved on with my life. Low and behold, 10 minutes later, I get kicked from my friend's party and "can't join back because you have an ongoing Communication Suspension". This cant be any less reasonable.

    Unfortunately there's none. If the appeal can't be made on the site, there isn't an alternative. You'll sadly need to wait it out. Sorry about that.

    • There is an appeal button but I am unable to click on it. It is a communications ban that lasts 72 hours and should allow an appeal but the button itself is green but cant be clicked. Any ideas, Mr. Jesse?

    That's where you'll see the type of ban, the duration and if you can appeal it. Support cannot assist with issues of bans or suspension.

    You can view your ban by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review from there if eligible. The enforcement team does not use the forums.
