My Wireless Xbox One Controller (Bluetooth Compatible) Won't pair via Bluetooth

I've troubleshooted it and all that fancy stuff, but nothing seems to be working. There are a few details I would like to note.

1. The Mini-USB charging hole is mostly broken, although I can get it to work for a little.

2. I have only the controller. I do not own a console. Only the controller and a PC.

3. It tells me I need to enter a PIN code. I have seen an answer to that problem, but I tried out the way to solve the problem multiple times and it did nothing.

4. It does show up in the "Add Bluetooth or other device" thing. I just can't get it to pair because of the stupid PIN thing, as I'm pretty sure Controllers don't have PIN codes.

If you know how to deal with this, please help. Thanks.

Please check first if your pc's bluetooth device is 4.0 or higher.

Searching again I noticed that this happens when the bluetooth device is not 4.0, that's why it asks for the pin, but with bluetooth 2.0 devices it doesn't work.

Hello. First of all, thank you very much for the quick response. Second of all, the PIN code "00000" did not work.

As for the other option, I don't think I understand. I went to "Devices" in the Settings app but there is no "Connected Devices" option anywhere. Please elaborate, and again, thank you.

You can try to enter the pin "00000"

if it doesn't work try the following, go to the windows settings, in devices and select connected devices, add a device, and find your control, a security code will be generated to confirm the computer as a trusted device, confirm this code.

To pair an Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC via Bluetooth:

Turn on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button.

Press and hold the Pair button on your controller for three seconds (the Xbox button will start flashing rapidly).

On your PC, press the Start button, then choose Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices (on Windows 11: Settings > Bluetooth & devices).

Turn on Bluetooth. Select Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth (on Windows 11: Add device). Your PC will begin searching for your controller.

Select Xbox Elite Wireless Controller > Done.

If it's still not going into pairing mode, try holding the Pair button for longer than 3 seconds.
