    My wireless xbox headest is glitching/static noises

    whenever my wireless xbox headset detects audio, it makes glitching noises or static noises every 4 seconds or so, i tried resetting it's settings which didn't work, I checked for an update, I've tried quite a bit, did I blow my speakers? Or is it a bug

    :)

    Microsoft Wireless Headset Buzzing

    Hi Jen

    This doesn't either, I've noticed that the sound disappears when it is hardwired to the USB port on the console? Not sure if I'm hearing static noises as it is wireless.

    My Turtle Beach Ear Force DX12 headset has static white noise crackling popping sound when the mic cable is plugged into the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter and the controller is plugged into the Xbox with the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit at the same tim

    Used my brothers brand new Turtle Beach DXL1 headset with my two week old Xbox One and same problem happens. I always play with wired controllers (deceases input lag), so I used the Play & Charge kit cable (a week old) for my Xbox One wireless controller
    (two weeks old) every single time I play, which I plug into the back bottom USB slot. (When I use the Play & Charge cable to play, the data transfers over the cable like a wired controller, right?? I remember reading that somewhere) I plug my DXL1 headset
    into the DSS2 Surround Sound Processor (both brand new), which plugs into the back top USB slot of my Xbox One. I also love to use chat, however, when I plug in the DXL1 chat cable into the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter (also brand new) on my controller,
    there is an insane amount of static and white noise through headset speakers. When I unplug the mic, most of the static goes away. If I keep the mic plugged in, but I unplug the Play & Charge kit, then some of the static goes away. What it pretty much comes
    down to is I can either choose between having both chat and wired controller but insane static noise, having chat with a wireless controller with less static noise, having a wired controller with no chat with even less static noise, or having a wireless controller
    with no chat an having next to nothing of static noise.

    When I have both the headset and controller plugged into my Xbox One, am I overloading the power source which is causing the static? Maybe the One cannot handle multiple things plugged into it at the same time (DXL1 Headset + Xbox One Controller)... Or maybe
    it is the controller that cannot handle two things plugged into it at the same time (Play & Charge + Stereo Headset Adapter w/ mic). I tried plugging in the DXL1 Headset into my USB Samsung Galaxy Note 3 charger that plugs into the wall outlets instead of
    my Xbox One and that seems to mitigate the problem a little bit. Only a little bit though.

    I'm going to try another USB to micro-USB cable to use on my controller instead of the Play & Charge cable to see if that will help. If not, then I guess I'll just play with a wireless controller + chat, and charge the controller when I'm not playing. I
    don't think the input lag with wireless is that severe, or is it?

    Any tips, fixes, suggestions, comments are welcome please, thank you. :-]

    Xbox wireless adapter static/crackling noise

    Hello dear Gamer, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

    My name is Vinicius.

    I am a gamer and independent advisor on the XBOX community platform.

    Hey Kai, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    Ok, there are a couple of things we could try, but if did not work, probably is the adapter. :(

    First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

    Also, you could restore your PC's OS via the windows 10 ISO image tool:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/software-downlo...

    That way, you can restore and keep your installed games and all of your files.

    So, your adapter is under warranty? Usually Microsoft's accessories has 90 days of warranty.

    This did not fix it. Is it possible for me to get the adapter replaced and if so how do I go about doing this?
