My wireless controller is not working on my laptop.

I have tried most things but is still not recognized as a game controller. I tried plugin it into another computer and worked instantly, but whenever I try connecting it to my laptop (via Bluetooth/USB) it always configures as a sound device. I disabled it and it still doesn't pop up when I try configuring game devices.

To be honest you may have to contact Sony about connecting a PlayStation controller to PC.

From PlayStation’s website:

“You can connect a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller to a Windows PC using a DUALSHOCK®4 USB wireless adaptor or a compatible micro USB cable.”

Go to ds4win or download steam

Duakshock nor dual sense support windows natively

Either you use the ds 4 win wrapper driver or the steam ones

And for any drivers issues you must head to steam or ds4win for help (sony does not support xinput of any non sony platforms only steam is supported dual sense as a beta and phones use the basic controller driver )

I downloaded DS4Windows and installed the drivers from it. Connected it via Bluetooth as it showed in the DS4 guide and it appears it as "Wireless Controller", yet still it doesn't show up as connected neither on DS4 nor steam.
