    I’ve seen posts about this here and there all over the internet. This is a maddeningly frustrating issue I’ve been having ever since I bought the new Series S.

    It is constantly (1-6x a day!) disconnects from Xbox live. You can watch it disconnect from the main home dashboard. It disconnects and reconnects in a matter of seconds.

    Really just a small problem except the games I play like warzone, pga2k and Hunt Showdown all require long periods of sustained connection. Big ask, I know.

    I’ve found several threads and posts that seem to be related to to this exact problem but no official word from anyone and no real fix.

    I’ve tried alternate port selection, different DNS settings, I’ve cleared the MAC address and I’ve yet to find a long term fix. Some stuff works for periods of time but the past week or so it has been unplayable.

    Does NOT seem probable it’s my internet. Like I said I’m wired in. All diagnostic check from the Xbox side obviously are coming up Aces. Any check from the internet provider side isn’t showing any issue either. Previous console I own and still use is a ps4 that has no internet dropping issue that I can recall (none to this level) all other devices work fine without issue as well.

    Man, if anyone has any insight or something I’m missing please lmk cause at this point I’m looking to sell this new Xbox and purchase the first PS I can find.

    I know other people are having a similar issue too this was brought up by someone on here around early December if I recall correctly.

    Xbox One X keeps disconnecting with WiFi

    I have the same problem. While playing with my xbox one x, wired connection, I randomly get disconnected from xbox live for about 5 seconds, just enough to kick me out of any online session, then I have to rejoin session and explain my teammates I got
    disconnected. It happens very random, but constantly enough to bother me. I did a factory reset, and it seem to have fix it for a while, I'll say it was fix for about 3 weeks. Then yesterday it started doing the same problem again.

    I keep getting disconnected from xbox live at random whenever there is any activity between my profile and someone else's

    Just moved my xbox into the living room where it was close enough for me to wire it directly into the router. Joined several online games but it still behaves exactly the same.

    I don't get any error codes, just the same message "Disconnected from Xbox Live"

    Is this shown as a message or error somewhere? If so is it on the Xbox itself or the router settings?

    Is your Series X connected wirelessly or wired? Does the issue persist if you disconnect your Xbox One S from the network?
