My wired controller wont sync

hi i bought a green Xbox one wired controller where you can see the wires and the problem is that one day i woke up wanting to play Xbox. When I turned it on my controller's light was blinking on and off fast. I suspect it has a sync problem but no matter
what I do it wont work, help?

Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects

i cant even sync the controller to the console, even the kinect wont pick it up. I even bought another controller today to try and still it wont sync. the only way they work is if they are wired into the console. This is next gen, i dont want to have to
play a 500 dollar gaming system in 2014 with with wires .

xbox one controller wont sync wired or not wired

Un plug the power pack, wait 1 minute and reconnect, turn xb 1 on and re-sync and this should sort it outClick to expand...

as said try totally unlpluggin. My xbox wifi doesn't work anymore and since then the controller is a bit temperamental and loses sync at times. Works when cable plugged in then unplug cable and it loses connection every 10 secs or so until I reset it and get it synced. I also try to turn console on with the controller as that seems to help it keep in sync.

Hey MrToxicZombiex! Is the controller an official Microsoft Xbox One controller or did you purchase it from a different manufacturer? Additionally, do you have a different controller you can test on the console to see if the same issue persists? Post back

Tried that too,I left it unplugged for over 30 minutes still wont sync wireless but works on the wire until I unplug it, then the controller goes back to a flashing home button. As i've said before,all other controllers sync fine with no issue. Its just
the elite controller.

i can turn my xbox on
with my controller but still doesnt sync.

Power on the console with the power button and let it finish booting. Then power-on the controller with the Guide button. When the controller's lights start spinning, hit the sync button on the console.

have noticed that when the green lights spin on the console after pressing the sync button that only three are spinning controller or user two does not light up at all..

It's possible your controller is damaged in some way and can no longer sync. Try
to re-pair the controller using the steps provided above.

I recently tried updating my controller but the update failed, now my controller wont sync with my xbox and also will not sync with a micro usb cable. The light wont flash faster if I press the sync button on the controller. I would like to update the controller
and possibly solve the problem but since it wont become recognizable to any of my devices I can't. I need urgent help.

try to get your controller checked out by an expert because most of the time it's the stuff that are inside that either needs servising or replacing the componets inside
