My wifi connection on my XBOX One S is, at max speed, 12mb/s. All other devices i have are 150

A rule to go by, is to never make a comparizon between different vendors and their respectively Wi-Fi chipset. It can also have huge impact on the drivers in use.

Could you try with an Ethernet solution and let us know the outcome.

This heavily depends on the location of the server (and the service itself) from which you download data from.

Could you be more precise; regardless of the content you are trying to download, it never reaches more than 12 Mbps in throughput?

did not work for me. was happy to see the toggle set to "on"

but download speeds are still 2,2MB/S -> 1,1MB/S ->500KB/S -> 0 B/S -> 2,2MB/S and so on instead of 12MB/S which is full speed with my 100k cable connection. steam, uplay, hell even origin are able to deliver enough bandwith for full speed downloads but
MS on PC and xbox and sony on PS, man they didn't do their freaggin' homework at all.

My internet package as advertised by my ISP is 150 MB/s. download and 150 MB/s. upload.

While running speed tests on my PC, I am getting results in the range of: 150 - 170 MB/s. download and 140 - 150 MB/s. upload.

While doing speed test on my Xbox OneX, the results are : 20 - 27 MB/s. download and 9 - 11 MB/s. upload.

Both my PC and Xbox OneX are connected via an ethernet cable. Now I'm far from being the most tech savvy guy out there, but something seems way off. I have researched multiple help/troubleshoot pages, to no avail.

I too would like to hear any information/help in regards to this.

On my old xbox one my speeds were 20mb/s download and everything worked fine. Only thing that has changed is the console. both running on same OS everything is the same yet have problems on new console.

But on this new xbox one S the speeds only 12mb/s download - 4mb/s upload - 0% packet loss - MTU 1500- Latency 154ms NAT type Open aswell.
