    X1 Platform/Xbox One Set Up

    So I have tried all of the suggestions in this thread with no success. I have a Comcast X1 box model number PX013ANM. I have a 3 head IR emitter plugged in to the Xbox One. I have tried manually entering my model number and remote code as well as changing
    the model to X1. It also doesn't control my TV (Sony KDL-40W4100) even after trying all 4 codes from the website listed above. Neither the Xbox controller or the Xbox One remote will work to change the channel or the volume of the TV.

    Any ideas?

    Can you share the make and model of your television? Generally the TV sends a digital signal back to the Xbox One to notify it's connected and I'm wondering if perhaps the TV isn't sending that signal despite displaying fine.
    Its a 2014 Sony Bravia KDL-50R550A which is an Australian model or - (Asia Pacific region).

    XBox stops controlling television and cable box

    I ran the Kinect setup and it didn't help. But I found something else weird.

    When I do "TV Setup" it says it has detected my TV. When I press Next it kind of locks up for maybe 10-20 seconds before returning to the main TV settings page. It selects code T0810.

    Then if I go back to "Device control" and select "Device power options", everything is set to "Nothing". The option lists only display "Nothing". I don't have the option to send power on or power off signals to my tv. Again, the Xbox won't accept input for
    a few seconds after I open the options list.

    I'm trying to look up the code for my tv right now to see if it matches the one the Xbox selects.

    My tv model btw, is a Sony KDL-55w802a.

    Unable to click Next to complete Device Control TV Setup

    After a hard reset, I go to the Device Control settings and it says TV: Sony not set. Then I go in and enter my model number, search, find the correct model number in the drop down list, select Next and click it... same behavior nothing happens.

    My model number for my cable box is SMT3362, its not showing up on the xbox one. Its giving me other model numbers instead that they found. I have a westinghouse 120hz 42 inch 1080p tv. Any solutions to this?
