    My Xbox will turn on for around 10 seconds then shut off automatically

    My Xbox One S that i got for my birthday in April 2017 will not turn on properly. I had no issues with it until one day my Xbox just would turn on and suddenly shut off, without showing anything on the screen. What should i do?

    Xbox App Won't Detect TV App HDMI

    I've been attempting to do the same thing, but the streaming of the TV app (with 360 showing) has only worked for me if I have the Xbox One physically showing on my television screen (which defeats the purpose).

    If I turn the television scree off, I get the same error saying it cannot detect the HDMI signal.

    Firebird3776 - what television do you have? Does the One S show that 4K is supported in the display test when directly connected?

    FURTHER UPDATE! HAHA i turned off my firewall and im now projecting screen to xbox obe but.... all it is showing is my dektop, if i open a game on pc it will run on pc but not on the television all it shows is the game running in the taskbar and a blank

    Thank you for the fast response! I don't have any other TVs or displays to connect it to right now. As for the television display, it doesn't show a resolution. I'm not getting a blank display or even a black screen or anything, it is just showing the screen
    saver of various images on the TV. The TV itself is a 4K and HDR enabled LG. Prior to this I was having no issues and haven't moved my system or changed anything.

    Oh well, I guess I should look into seeing how much a repair estimate would be then.
