My suggestions on Xbox 360's dashboard

(Maybe it's not a place to suggest stuff to Microsoft, I couldn't find any other way...)

I've been a long fan of Xbox 360's Metro dashboard, but I recently found out that ads are no longer on the home tab.

It would take a lot of time and effort to maintain these ads. So I understand why Microsoft made this decision.

But I'd like to suggest Microsoft to put ads on the dashboard again. But instead of this, make these ads permanent so it doens't need further maintenance.

Several game ads including Forza Horizon 2, GTA V, Modern Warfare 3, and many more on the games tab are already permanent. I'd love it if Microsoft put permanent ads on the home tab too. If there are people who don't like ads, turning on and off in settings menu could be a solution.

I'd be appreciated if Microsoft could take my suggestion into consideration.

360 development ended years ago and the number of users is likely low enough no one is buying those ad spots.

Considering that abs like YouTube of ended their support, the 360 hardware is basically in hibernation, and likely to remain so

I have it for Xbox 1 and on my Xbox 1's Dashboard it costs NZ$89.95. Am currently on my Xbox 360's Dashboard (but have to go to sleep soon) and the Xbox 360 version costs NZ$99.95, $10 more than the Xbox 1 version. Just thought I bring this out. Xbox 360
version has no Kinect/multiplayer features and Xbox 360 version looks like it doesn't have as good graphics as on the Xbox 1 version.

My favourite feature is that the console doesn't abruptly sign you out of Xbox Live every time there is an update required like with the Xbox 360 (Xbox Live Updates).

My least favourite feature is no voice messaging even to other Xbox 1 users

(and that Xbox 1 can't do like half the stuff Xbox 360 can do (change UI background with a pic/theme, battery indicator, recent players list, bio/motto/location in profile, USB support videos/pics no external HDD support so far, no access to the consoles
HDD, laggy Dashboard when using the controller, compared to 360's current Dashboard. I love the 360 Dashboard its really easy and fun even for kids. Xbox 1's Dashboard isn't as user friendly as Xbox 360's current UI).

I'd suggest getting updates they way most peps get them, using the Xbox 1 Dashboard and your console connected to Xbox Live. If you copy an update file and if it gets corrupted even by 0.0001% from genuine updates Microsoft hands out for the Dashboard on
Xbox 1, it's likely to get banned. If caught Microsoft bans consoles with firmware of unknown origin, QUALITY or intent. And then we get naïve peps coming on here "why we got banned?".

Older peps on here may want to do it though. Accessing the Xbox 360's internal HDD seems to be more simpler than accessing the Xbox 1's internal HDD through the Dashboard. I would like an option to backup in the future my Minecraft worlds on X1 to USB so
probably not know how to do it using the Xbox 1's UI because it is at least a bit different compared to the 360's UI which I'm more familiar with. With Xbox 360's Dashboard it shows you everything pretty much in your consoles HDD.
