My subscription states that my Xbox Game pass ultimate is active but the Xbox isn’t letting...

I have an Xbox at my household. The only subscription active on it is the 1 dollar for first month of Xbox ultimate which was redeemed this month. This isn’t the subscription that’s taking the money since this was activated this month and my issue has been happening for several months (Charge of 19.20$ every month)

I'm afraid it is not possible to play online without either of these 2 subscriptions: Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate unless there is an account with an active subscription that is game sharing/set as home Xbox on your console.

Based on your description, an account with an Xbox Game Pass subscription is set as home Xbox (subscription sharing) on your console however you are still unable to play online, is that correct?

If yes, this could mean that the account with the subscription that is set as home Xbox might have its subscription expired already or that the active subscription is neither Core nor Ultimate.

You need to contact the owner of that account if it still has an active subscription by confirming it on account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

your subscription section of your Microsoft account show that you own Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? If you are able to see an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you must make sure that you are signed in to your computer and the Windows Store application
with the same account. As stated by AWildYamiEnters, you must use the
Xbox (beta) App in order to play Xbox Game Pass on PC games. Be sure to let us know the results!

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you have an active Ultimate game pass subscription, any code redeemed converts to Ultimate subscription. In this case 12 months of Xbox live gold convert to 4 months of Ultimate game pass. The ultimate game pass subscription
