    My storage won’t let me use a bit of it and i don’t know what to do.


    So about a month ago my xbox decided that it would just not let me use about 30 total precent of my storage capacity and i don’t know why or how to fix it and i’ve hit a wall trying to figure it out. If anyone knows what to do or any ideas i would love
    to here them, thanks.

    I have a xbox one s with 1TB of storage it just says 780GBs in the settings so thats what i said
    And to repeat what I said is, The 1TB XBox one Internal drive has reserved space
    assigned for the system, ie storage for the OS and storage for clips and screenshots, leaving 780GB of internal disc space for whatever games and apps you download or install.

    Its the internal 780gb storage and i think the cloud is enabled id have to check
    Remember that a 1TB XBox one Internal drive has reserved space assigned for the system. My 1TB XB1X only has 780GB left for my use, and one of the reasons I have a external drive attached.

    If it's an Xbox one and you're using an external hard drive AND your cloud saves are enabled and up to date then I would reformat the drive and see if it recovers the unavailable space.
