My son's account got perma banned when we were away, no reason given, no details (all boxes...

There is a way to find out the details that made the Enforcement team decide for permanent ban and that should be shown on the email, notification or the Enforcement History. As we, forums and customer support have no ability to assist any suspension or enforcement concern, please refer to the notification the Enforcement Team sent.

In your case, since you are on vacation, we believe it is best for you to access your account in your return. Please check your Family group, as stated on enforcement history, only you (organizer) or the member can view the enforcements action. Case reviews for enforcements on child accounts must be submitted by an organizer in the same family group.

The permanent ban is regardless of the number of strikes that you receive. Permanent ban is issued after thorough investigation of the Enforcement Team. If you believe your account is permanently ban too, please check your enforcement history first and send an appeal. Learn more here: How to submit a case review | Xbox Support

Just in case both of you were permanently ban, both of you can still access the downloaded games, apps, or features but this has to be offline.

It is indeed odd if you are getting that notification of denied appeal. So, to ensure you know the details about your account, we recommend that you manually check your account's enforcement history and your son's too.

We understand that you need answers to your questions about the grounds of enforcement, as much as we would like to provide you with details. The best course of action here is for you to check it and submit an appeal.

A reason that may include several factors was given......The email you recieved provided the information for causes.... A talk with your son may provide more information about the details... Unfortunatly, by the time a Perma Ban is issued, actions can't
be reversed. If you ask again in the (WHY my account was Banned) section, a copy of the email with a highlited reason maybe offered. That may narrow down the reason to a specific cause. I wish you both GOOD LUCK!!!!

I got a perma ban on the account i bought it on (ban came from my brother who i no longer share an account with) but i thought the game licence stays on the xbox. Also the account that has the perma ban is still on my xbox. When i got the perma ban and
made this account i got a console ban for using a new account before the console ban i had it and when my console ban was lifted i cant find most games i want to download :/

Totally agree! My son has been banned with no reason given. Microsoft says if you are banned the details of why will be provided in the message but the message just refers you to their Ts&Cs - no specific details are given. My son is 12 - he doesn't know
how to hack the game. If no one tells him what he did wrong how can he learn from his mistakes?

Actually you got banned for a reason as stated by ngocphi. Is it perma banned?
