My son has been banned from Xbox. It is a family xbox but now no-one can use the console....

If it's a console ban, those cannot be reversed.

I assure you that it doesn't matter if they delete them, it's a standard piece of moderation tools to be able to see things people deleted. if you deleted your post right now I could still see it

Yes but my son was using the primary account holders tag.. His fathers tag. That is why we are so annoyed. Yes my son now realizes that he may have to be banned as he did one thing wrong. But that does not give anyone the right to ban a whole family. I
am the one who pays the bills and trust me I have given my son wrong. But my whole family have lost XBox live. My 11 year old son plays all the time on Xbox live and so does his Dad too. What can I do.... Trust me I would have liked a warning about this so
we could have read the terms and condition of microsofts contract. as a family. Too late now the horse has already bolted. What about all the money I have spent on Xbox game .s .. a waste of money. !!!!!!

Because the original account is now your eldest son's account. Technically he has to consent all the changes on the family settings.

I think, you and your youngest son should be removed from the family group first (the one that you share with your eldest son). He might have to do it, as he has the parental control.

Then sign in your xbox, and create a new family group for you and your youngest son.

Remove yourself or a family member from your family on Xbox One

Create a child account and add family members on Xbox One
