There are a coupled things that could be going on we recommend checking up on!

• How many accounts are on the console and are they all locked down with pass keys or passwords?
• Have you recently changed the login info for your account or any account not belonging to your son to be sure you son has not gained access to the accounts?
• Is your son's account a child account and connected directly to your account?

Firstly I can confirm that it is a Microsoft Account. The issue is that the account was created using my ex-husband's Microsoft account, which I can not access.

I can not legally login into his account and so I want to move all of my son's game profiles off my ex-husband's account to merge onto a new profile. The only way to do this is to be able to access the existing account, which I don't have access to.

Since my son plays the Xbox and not my ex-husband, my ex-husband left the Xbox with his son when we separated.

How can I verify that the game accounts on the Xbox belong to my son when they are registered on my husband's Microsoft account. I can't provide order history as I can't access the account to provide it.

I'm having the same problem with a new XBOX 360. I've never used an XBOX before. Previously my son had played games on my Windows 10 laptop. I have his account set up to be a child account. He's 9 years old. Is there a minimum age for XBOX? I've successfully
imported my XBOX account using the same account that I use to manage my son's account.
