My son got banned a month ago and no one was even home to use the Xbox.

Also, I was charged the full month on September 13th, the same day as the ban began and can't get a refund, even though, no one played it since mid August.

I appreciate this answer, I've read everything it says. It gives no information beyond, harassment. I completely understand children say things they shouldn't but I know for a fact that day, he was not near the Xbox. It shows no details, he has not been on the Xbox much since I was in an accident in March and unable to be home. I see 0/8 strikes against him. Only banned indefinitely. I can't figure out how to get ahold of anyone for more information.

Bans are rarely issued at the same time that the offence happened due to the time it takes to investigate a report.

The ban may have been issued on Sept 13th but the actual offence could of been committed days or even weeks before.

You are not eligible for a refund for time lost due on a subscription to an enforcement action.

I know how frustrating this is for you, however, I would like to inform you that no one in the community forums or someone from Microsoft support is capable of assisting with enforcement actions.

If the suspension is eligible for an appeal, you can file a case review. Here is how:

Sign in and visit the https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history

If you’re an organizer of an Xbox family group, you can choose the gamertag of the account that you’re reviewing under Showing enforcements for. Under Previous or Current you will find “Completed suspensions” and “Active suspensions” for your account or the account that you’ve selected.

Choose an enforcement action to review more info about the cause and effect of the enforcement in the pop-up window.

If the enforcement action qualifies for case review, you can select Submit an appeal to receive more info from Xbox Safety.

After you’ve completed the form, select Submit.
