do you mean you forgot your passkey to log into Xbox Live ?

Then check out https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/security/forgot-xbox-one-passkey

You just have to type in your Microsoft account password to reset it.

If you forgot your Microsoft password you need to reset it.

If this is when you're connecting to Xbox Live, this will be the password for your Live ID email address linked to your Gamertag. To reset it, go to live.com and try logging in, following the steps for "Forgot Password" as needed.

it's very easy. Try to log in on Xbox live with the related email and click on 'forgot password'.

The system will reset your password and will send you an email with a link where you can choose a new password.

And don't forget to write it down. ^^

i have the same problem. sitting with my son trying to log into live on his 360 console. we've registered online, changed his password tried logging his profile onto console but it wouldnt accept password, reset password on the console (while connected to
wifi). It's updated the password on the xbox.com website but still won't allow us to log onto live and accept the password on the console. we've been at it for about 5 hours now and i'm about ready to get my hammer out too! we've deleted all profiles, cleared
