My son and I have separate consoles, and are on my game pass. Also set home xbox on both....

Try disabling the accounts Parental Permissions first, then make the purchase from his account. Afterwards, reenable the Parental Permissions. Another work around (If you have separate consoles) is purchasing Game Pass on your account and setting your Son's console as your Home Xbox. This will allow for Game Pass Access on both consoles.

The Game Pass subscription can be shared if your second son's console is set to the Home Xbox on your eldest son's Xbox account.

So, both accounts need to be on the console. When signed into the eldest son's account, Home Xbox must be enabled by selecting Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalisation > My home Xbox > Make this my home Xbox.

With this option enabled, your second son will be able to use his account but be able to access Game Pass and purchased games from your eldest son's Xbox account. And they can both use their accounts at the same time on their own consoles.

You'll want to leave the One S set as your Home console in order to share everything with your son.

Thank you, but, can I transfer all on my new XboxOne X so it will be my home console and i trasfer on it all, i mean games and both profiles of me and my son. After that reset to factory default my xboxone s console and set it to NOT my home console but
configure on it both profiles. If i do so, can my son play the same games and condivide my gold subscription?

Did you found solution for this? I'm also going to buy Xbox X and give my One S to my son. Do I need to buy games once again to have it on both console? Can we use both Xbox'es in the same time and play the same games?

You will have to set the console that your son is using as your home console, and that way your games will be shared with him. Not only games but your subscriptions such as Gold and Game Pass will also be shared.

I have two consoles, one for my daughter and son to share and one for me with my sons profile on it as well. When he tries to sign on to my console it asks him to buy game pass or live gold if I'm not signed in. The console that my daughter has
is set as the home box.

keep them set that way round so that they can play on their Xbox while you are on yours. if they want to play games using both Xboxes you can sign in on yours and then switch to your son's account for him to play.
