Could you clarify what you mean by "accidentally deleted" the content, please? If the codes have been redeemed, the content is available in-game already.

Bonus content would only be available on the account that purchased the game. If your son did not purchase the game, he would not have access to that content.

Hello, Even though it doesnt state it some of the DLC content is not avail if not used in a very long time. I found this out the hard way with Destiny....my son tried to redeem a code that he never knew he had and it had been a year after the game was
purchased. He could not redeem at all.

Depending on the content you may be able to purchase it on behalf of your son and send a redeem code for him to use. When in the store on the console if you view the content he wants there may be the option to purchase it as a gift.

What do you mean about no saved content? My son lost all his saved content on Lego and he was a long through the game and had unlocked nearly all the character's , there was tears that day!
