    Hello friends,

    My Xbox Game Pass games for PC they function well. My issue is that the when the app generates the shortcuts to my desktop the icons pasted are too small as, really different from my steam games shortcut's icons and not aesthetic at all as you can se:

    I'm not really sure why they are showing these very small icons surrounded by a black background. But you can change the icon from an app shortcut by:

    Right click the shortcut > Properties > On the shortcut tab, click on "Change icon". It will give you all the choices available to be shown as the shortcut icon.

    See if this helps and please let me know.

    here is a temp fix for you

    Right click the desktop, go to View > Small icons. Then right click again, go to View > Medium icons (or whatever size you used to use).

    I understand that you are experiencing issues with the icon of the game BO6.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please reset the Icon cache by opening Command Prompt as Administrator.

    Type the following command and press Enter: ie4uinit.exe -show

    Restart your PC and check if the icon appears.

    And then manually set the icon. To do this, right-click the blank shortcut and select Properties. Go to the Shortcut tab and click Change Icon.

    Browse to the game’s installation folder (C:\Program Files\XboxGames\BlackOps6 or similar). Select the .exe file and apply the changes.

    Next is to check for Windows updates. Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.

    Then run system file checker. Do this by opening Command Prompt as Administrator.

    Type the following command and press Enter: sfc /scannow

    Wait for the scan to complete and restart your PC.
