  1. My settings are set to update games while console is off but it’s not working

As of the release of season 14 of Apex I set my settings to finally update my games while my Series S was off so I could come home after work and it be ready to play. But as of season 15 for some reason it did not start the update until I got home and turned it on when it was released a few weeks ago, and did the same thing with COD and it’s release recently. I keep checking settings to make sure they are good does anyone have and answers or same issue? Thanks

    Stop with the updates!

Set your console to download console updates while it's off

I constantly get updates on my Xbox 1

Hello Joshua, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your updates.

I see you've already set your console to update while offline. If you're using external storage please make sure that you make sure it's not set to be turned off when the console is off as well as making sure that the option to keep your games and apps updated while offline.

go to SETTINGS on CONSOLE, then POWER SETTINGS, and change the power mode on console to ENERGY SAVING MODE, now when you turn off console , it will turn off hard drive, and turns off fan on power supply. It will no download updated while off.

Xbox one x no controller won’t power on console

My XBox One X has been doing this since the last update in August. Requires two pushes of the power button on the console and comes on like it's set to power saving mode even though I have it set to instant on. Nothing is updating either while it's off.
I might turn on my console maybe once a week or every ten days. Usually greeted with a few games needing updates. Everything is set to keep games up to date.

    Startup problem

    Things you can consider trying:

-Turn off the auto power-off (Settings -> Power & Start-up)

-Set console to instant-on (also in Settings -> Power & Start-up), then setting it to keep games up to date (Settings -> System -> Updates)

This should keep it up and running longer, and/or installing while you're not using or monitoring the console.
