My settings are messed up and I don’t know how to fix them

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with your party chat output.

You can configure this setting by going into your
Volume and audio output settings.

To adjust your settings, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select
Profile & system > Settings > General >
Volume & audio output. Under Party chat output, you can adjust the where the audio is projected from.

I tried i put it underneath headset and i even tried headset and speakers but its still connected to my tv.

it says the way I have my account set up it won’t let me use it. I don’t know how to fix it

Number 2 worked for me, i check my background setting for xbox and i had it set to “never” switched it to always on and it works now you don’t know how much you helped me my party chat been messed up for a couple months.

Seems like I fixed the problem, it was something with my mic Hz in the sound settings and I changed it to one of them till my mic stopped glitching but I don't know if they messed something else up and only fixed the Xbox party.
