    My Series X Xbox won't record properly


    When I had an Xbox One and an Xbox One x I could record the last 5 minutes at 1080p quality. However when I got my Series X Xbox I could seemingly only record for the last 3 minutes at 1080p quality; it was a bit frustrating, but I just dealt with it. Unfortunately for some bizarre reason I can now only record for the last 1 minute: I have tried deleting a bunch of 4K screenshots & a tonne of 1080p videos, but nothing seems to be allowing me to record for longer than a minute. I like recording clips from Apex Legends and a minute just isn't long enough a lot of the time.

    It hasn't, but I just checked in the capture & share options in preferences and it says the max amount of time you can record 1080p at is 1 minute. Has Xbox or Microsoft changed the amount of time you can record for?

    They have changed it, but they will refuse to talk about it. After wasting days trying to get ahold of someone with a clue about this, nobody I talked or text chatted to even had a series x to witness the problem. You can record morlonger, only if you get a dedicated formatted drive or buy theirs that they're trying to push.

    Until a single one gives ANY reason at all, THIS IS A SCAM BY MICROSOFT.

    DO NOT reset your console or any basic troubleshooting like they tell you to, it's just a waste of time.
