My Series X disconnects from the internet when switched off resulting in no auto updates.

Whenever i power down my series X it disconnects from the internet. i have it set up for auto updates and downloads but none of this is possible.

When switched on it auto connects to the network again but takes a few seconds to do so.

its driving me barmy, especially when trying to use a cloud save on a different device because it never uploads the most recent save.

This has been an issue ever since i've owned the X box. FYI its not MY network as i have PS5 set up for remote play sat next to it that works without fault.

One possible solution is to check your power settings. You can try changing the power mode to "Instant-on" instead of "Energy-saving" mode. This will allow your console to stay connected to the internet even when it's turned off, and it will also enable automatic updates and downloads.

To change the power mode, go to Settings > General > Power mode & startup. From there, select "Instant-on" and then restart your console. If this doesn't work, you can also try resetting your network settings by going to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear. This will reset your network settings and may help resolve the issue.

I sympathise. Since this latest update my xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet saying no network detected when the settings says it is. I have a series x haven't tried that yet to see if same issue .

disconnect your internet, boot your console, once booted remove the profile and full shut down. Once powered down reconnect Internet and reboot console and when back up add your profile back

if this doesn't work, factory reset from system settings>console info

i have the same issue on Xbox One X, auto off after 3 to 4 min, did the factory reset, its auto off on 50%, do it few times also auto off at 50%. Then i do the OSU 1, its auto off at 86%.... i only got the OSU 1 file, dont have the OSU 2 file.

When I want to disconnect the electricity from the device, I turn off the device completely through the settings

You should not disconnect the power from the Xbox Series X while it is in sleep or shutdown mode even if the fan does not rotate ???
